1994
After 16 years in shipping with a ship owner and Trampship operator in Hamburg, Germany, Hirendra Kurani started his own business with import and trade of sacks under the name of 
Kurani Verpackungen
The initial range of sacks available was limited to 6 sizes. The office was in the basement of the house and the goods were stored at a warehouse in Hamburg Wilhelmsburg.
1999
The office moves from the basement to the loft of the new house. The goods are still stored at the warehouse in Hamburg Wilhelmsburg.
2005
The office and warehouse are now under one roof in Immenhacken in the industrial area of Henstedt-Ulzburg.
2009
Change in the company name. The new name is
Säckekontor Kurani e.K.
Today the company has sacks bags and bale covers in over 200 different sizes, materials and colours. Further the firm has various other items such as baling straps, sewing threads, strapping tools, etc.
